Topic: THE MUGHALS (Project).
An ICT-integrated lesson will be conducted.
Pre Technology.
1. A brief introductory discussion on “The Mughals” by the teacher will commence the proceedings. Students will be divided into groups and assigned a sub-topic.
i) Babur.
ii) Humayun.
iii) Akbar.
iv) Jehangir.
v) Shahjehan.
vi) Auangzeb.
vii) Bahadur Shah Zafar II.
2. Students will be given necessary instructions to research about the Mughal emperor/s preparing any one of the following outcomes using any suitable software e.g. MS Word, MS Movie Maker, Movie of the Role play or an interview captured by a Digital camera.
Audio cast(pod cast), Movie, Publisher newsletter, Publisher poster, Role play, Drama skit, Biography, Story, fictional story, or Journal writing.
While Technology.
3. Students will prepare a learning outcome in the form of a role play, interview, drama skit, biography etc.
Post Technology.
4. Students will take out prints of their work or their files will be carried onto the Laptop/system for its presentation in the class/laboratory.
Backup.
Research will be made available offline on Networking or prints will be carried.
Extension Task.
Make a picture Album on the selected Mughal emperor encompassing important aspects of his life at a glance.

Instructions about software.Windows Movie Maker:
· Import pictures of the Mughal emperors from internet or saved files on machine.
· Place them on frames and add relevant text.
· Prepare a slide show of 5 slides.
· Include voice over and save your project in your class folder.
Your presentation should include.
Information about at least 2 of the Mughal emperors (Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jehan, Aurangzeb and Bahadur Shah Zafar), focusing their achievements e.g.
· their war strategies,
· their success in economic and religious reforms,
· their comparison with today’s monarch or
· comparison between any two of the Mughal emperor:
